Energy Engineer, Ofc of Sstnblty & Resiliency, Brown University (Providence, RI). Pvd bldg level commissioning actvtes to ensure bldg systms meet design & operation intent from energy prspctive incl. mntrng bldg operational & energy perfrmnce. Cndct measurement & verification actvtes for installed energy efficiency measures. Pvd expertise to optimize energy savings oprtntes. Min rqmnts: MS in Mech. Eng. or rel. eng. field (foreign degree accepted) plus 6 mnths rel. exp; OR BS in Mech. Eng. or rel. eng. field (foreign degree accepted) plus 3 yrs rel. exp. Spcl rqmnts: Knwldge of (can be gained in grad pgm, pre or post degree exp acptd): (1) Operation, maintenance & design of bldg electrical & HVAC systms & computerized maintenance mngmnt systms;(2) Eng. prncples assoc. w/analysis of energy-savings measures; (3) Analyzing & quantifying energy savings in prjcts invlvng chiller & boiler plants, motors, compressors, VSDs, HVAC retrofit, controls, & distributed generation; & (4)GHG emissions, net-zero, & carbon neutrality.
