Transmission & Distribution Engineering Supervisor – Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (required)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (preferred)
• 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or project leadership role
• Knowledge of electrical and civil engineering principles
• Strong understanding of applicable industry standards, electrical codes, and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency with CAD, spreadsheets, databases, and other engineering applications
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Must Haves

• Lead, mentor, and train a team of T&D Engineers and Construction Planners
• Oversee scheduling and resource allocation for capital projects and construction timelines
• Ensure designs meet safety, efficiency, and compliance standards
• Collaborate across departments including Asset Management, Real Estate, Vegetation, and Project Management
• Provide updates and reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Troubleshoot and guide engineering design challenges in real-time
• Develop and implement processes to improve team efficiency and productivity

Preferred Background & Skills

• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success in project management within utility or construction engineering
• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities
• Experience working in a regulated utility environment
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities
