Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• CVOR Surgical Technologist position with required scrub skillset
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS and NBSTSA
• Will float to General OR - must be comfortable with floating to general cases
• Call required every other weekend
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Unit performs all surgical specialties except transplant in 13-room OR
• Work with special equipment including 2 Xi DaVinci Robots
• Extensive surgical experience required including cardiovascular, orthopedic, general surgery, and robotic procedures
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, CVOR procedures, and hybrid OR preferred
• Must maintain aseptic technique and follow universal protocol procedures
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
